The National Association of Methodist Scouters (NAUMS) was formed in 1984 to provide resources for Scouting and Civic Youth-Serving Ministry.

Our Mission

To enhance the ministry of The Methodist Church, NAUMS develops resources to support and expand the church's ministry through programs of Boy Scouts of America, Camp Fire USA, Inc., Girl Scouts of the USA, and 4-H.  In addition, NAUMS advises, encourages, and aids the Church in the use of scouting ministry throughout the entire church family. “Scouting ministry” refers to the programs and ministry offered by all the above-named civic youth-serving agencies.
